yLead is a Brisbane based not-for-profit that engages 30,000 students across Australia & New Zealand annually. THE KIND OF PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR…

We are looking for a tenacious, passionate and experienced sales/marketing professional to lead the creation and implementation of campaigns, sharing our story far and wide to ensure we are engaging with as many young people as possible.
The person we are seeking will:
  • Have a passion for working with young people to help them better understand themselves, their peers and the impact and influence they have on the world around them.
  • Be excited to create inspiring content that connects educators, schools and organisations to our WHY.
  • Have experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp and WordPress.
  • Have experience designing and delivering multi-channeled marketing campaigns.
  • Have experience developing sales strategies and meeting sales targets.
  • Hold outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – in person, on the phone and in writing.
  • Be able to manage competing priorities with great time management skills, have a keen eye for detail and thrive when problem-solving.
  • Have a positive attitude, a growth mindset and a desire to learn and develop.
  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or professional experience.

THE THINGS YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…

  • Enhancing yLead’s current sales and marketing strategies for events and In School experiences as well as leading the implementation of such campaigns.
  • Meeting sales and growth targets, and managing the sales process through enquiry, proposal, negotiation and conversion.
  • Designing new, and updating existing, marketing collateral for all events and experiences.
  • Building new relationships with passionate educators through face-to-face meetings, phone calls and online communications.
  • Sharing the impact of yLead’s work through preparation and distribution of media releases.

DUE DATE

Applications close Monday May 3 at 11:59pm. Outcomes regarding progression from there will be communicated by COB Tuesday May 4. Interviews will be held Wednesday May 5 and Thursday May 6; please keep these dates available.
Hours: Full-time
Location: Based at yLead HQ in Nundah, QLD (flexible working environment with weekly interstate travel commitments)
Salary: $55,000-$68,000 (negotiated based on experience)
